The period, starting about half a billion years ago, when the most interesting animals collected in colorful, photogenic groups. To say that this was a long time ago, or even an extremely long time ago, or a mind-aching fuckwarp of time ago, doesn’t begin to cover it. This was before there were land animals, or insects, or leaves.
