Full-length documentary on the world's oldest orchestras, co-produced by SVT (2026). Does everyone agree on what an orchestra is, or which should be on a list of the oldest? Take a guess. The film visits historians, musicians, archivists, music directors and conductors in Copenhagen, Weimar, Kassel, Stockholm and Dresden. My ground zero: a portrait of King Christian I in Frederiksborg Castle, Hillerød.
